If you are in the Atlanta or the surrounding area, come by the Atlanta Lotus Users Group (ATLUG) on September 9th at the IBM building on Northside. I'll be presenting on BlackBerry Enterprise Server on Lotus Domino best practices. If you are running BES, or are thinking of implementing a BES solution come on by and find out some key information that will help you when managing your BES install. Hi Darren,

Unfortunately I wont be anywhere near you on 9 September as I live in the UK!

I would have come if I could - are you likely to put up in your Blog the presentation or would it be possible for you to send me a transcript or any associated handout you may have put together.

I am particularly interested in the integration of Domino apps on the BB - an area which up to now has been fairly untouched as far as my experience has shown.

All the best for the 9th

Yes the presentation will be available either here or on the my employer web site (http://www.simplified-tech.com.

Domino apps are reasonably simple to extend to the BlackBerry via the MDS Runtime. Simply develop a web service or services in Domino and pull it into MDS Studio using the Quick Start wizard. Use the 2.0 Beta if you are use to Eclipse available here, or MDS Studio 1.1 if you are not familiar yet with the Eclipse IDE from this link.

I'm also toying with the idea of a LotusSphere session too, but I haven't completely made up my mind about that.
