Is BlackBerry 4.5 Device OS live? We think so.
A few days ago a client downloaded the 4.5 desktop software from the BlackBerry site for their AT&T BlackBerry Pearl 8100. Low and behold when they plugged in their device and it was upgraded from 4.3 to 4.5.0.37 (it has high 30's, I think 37). I don't have a 8100 so I neither confirm nor deny this will work. As always YMMV.
I believe they downloaded the multilingual without media manager.

Well, I downloaded it just to see and it DIDN'T seem to install any new device OS. Again, I don't have an 8100 so if you have one it may work.
