Why now?

OK, so here I am about to embark on a voyage of self discovery and discipline. The discipline side comes from me being a bit lazy. My BlackBerry (which for the last 9 months has been a Sprint 8830) has over 700 unread emails, so having to find the time, inclination and reason to post is going to be interesting to say the least. The self discovery, if someone will actually read this (other than my family).

So why is this random dude blogging?
Good question. Over the past few years I have been a random "responder/lurker" to Ed Brill's blog, and a avid poster to the BlackBerry MDS developer forums and figured it is time for me start my own thing. I do feel I have a lot to give, experience, insight and the general desire to blabber on.

About me:
An Englishman living in the States (Atlanta, GA to be exact). I've been here 12 years so the natives understand me about 80% of the time. Not everyone speaks like Hugh Grant or Prince Charles. I am a graduate Software Engineer who is getting old enough to have to work it out ,y age when asked ot (>30 for those <30). I am currently a Technical Lead for Simplified Technology Solutions, Inc.and lead the Rapid-Ask by STS product development line as well as being a consultant in several technologies. For the last 14 years I have worked with the IBM Lotus Notes/Domino product and for 4+ years worked with BlackBerry product line.

Hopefully, dear reader I will not bore you to death and you will check back periodically for updates and musings.
