How to get off the bellsouth.net / att.net RBL list
Recently more and more of our Domino clients have been getting blocked sending emails to bellsouth.net email addresses. So we ran through the normal checklists:
- They were not an open relay, so it wasn't that: http://www.checkor.com/
- They had a reverse DNS, so it wasn't that: http://remote.12dt.com/
- They were not on any major RBL lists, so it wasn't that: http://www.robtex.com/rbl/
- Eventually after much gnashing of teeth we found this helpful (!) site and had the block removed within 48 hours: http://worldnet.att.net/general-info/block_admin.html
- Finally check your gateway IP against http://cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi (to get your gateway IP by visiting
